Food with a story
Walking down the leafy pathway into the valley where Bloublommetjieskloof Farm is nestled is like walking into any greenie’s utopia. With lush overgrown areas encircling natural pastures housing a small crew of horses and cows, and a few cob cottages peaking out of the bush complementing a traditional old farm house, the farm is a happy mix of wild and tame. It’s exactly what you would expect from the oldest biodynamic farm in South Africa.
No more plastic!
We at Bloublometjieskloof have always been concerned about the amount of plastic generated and have for years been trying to find a solution to our own use of plastic bottles for the products - finally we have reached our goal - NO MORE PLASTIC! our cleaning and body products are now all packaged in glass or tin cans with paper labels. The product can be used directly from the tin (by partially snapping open the easi-snap seal) or ideally the product should be decanted into a re-fill dispensing bottle.
